Want free access to books, movies, audiobooks, and more? Here’s how to get your Los Angeles Public Library card online in just a few minutes!
1️⃣ Go to LAPL.org. That’s the official website of the Los Angeles Public Library.
2️⃣ Click on “Library Card” at the top of the page, then choose “Apply for an e-card.”
3️⃣ Fill out the short form with your name, email, and L.A. address. Remember, you must live in California to apply!
4️⃣ Once submitted, you’ll instantly get an e-card number by email. This gives you access to thousands of free digital resources like eBooks, audiobooks, movies, and homework help.
5️⃣ Want physical books too? Just bring your e-card number and a photo ID with proof of address to any Los Angeles Public Library branch to upgrade to a full card!
